The MMG H2O™ hydrophilic closed system catheter is designed to maximize patient comfort and reduce urethral trauma. The MMG H2O™ glides easily into the urethra after activation of the unique Rusch hydrophilic coating using the integrated .09% sterile saline pouch. Our soft silicone introducer tip protects the catheter from the bacteria residing within the distal urethra. The MMG H2O™ hydrophilic closed system catheter kit is self contained and fully protected within its own closed, sterile field. The kit contains sterile latex free gloves, underpad, BZK towelette, gauze, and a refuse bag for convenient disposal.The MMG H2O™ hydrophilic closed system catheter is a sterile compact way for the intermittent catheter user to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

Rusch FloCath®
The Rusch FloCath® is a hydrophilic coated intermittent catheter that offers a comfortable and easy-to-use alternative to ordinary intermittent catheters. The hydrophilic coating is designed to reduce friction, allowing effortless insertion into the bladder. Activation of the coating occurs by soaking the catheter in water for 30 seconds. The water binds to the catheter creating an extremely low friction, slippery surface that is maintained during insertion and withdrawal. This results in minimizing insertion forces and tissue irritation while maximizing maneuverability and overall patient comfort. In a user preference test, 5 out of 5 participants chose FloCath® over another leading brand of intermittent catheters.

This ERU Siliconized PVC Catheter has 2 staggered eyes. It has a solid tip and is color coded for size. It has a length of 40 cm (16") and is for single use. It is flexible with a curved tip and relatively stiffer shaft to help ease catheterization. An effective tiemann catheter needs a flexible curved tip but pliable shaft to help ease catheterization. It is especially helpful in negotiating difficult catheterizations. Rusch achieves this by modelling the tip separately and then joining it to the shaft. The notch on the catheter funnel is used to indicate the tip position.

The kit contains a RUSCH/MMG™ Intermittent Catheter, gauze tissue, povidone iodine swabs, two vinyl gloves and underpad. The RUSCH/MMG™ Intermittent Catheter has been proven to reduce urinary tract infections. Medical studies prove that MMG™ users are nine times less likely to contract UTI's than those using other conventional methods. Our soft silicone "introducer" tip shields the catheter through the tip of the urethral opening bypassing the majority of urinary tract bacteria. No gloves are needed. The self-contained intermittent catheter system is fully protected within its own closed sterile field.
